Exceptional Measures
Superior Performance
Scout/Recruiter
Raw talent is undeniable, and typically consistent in both practice and games. Yet raw talent is only part of the equation on how to effectively determine whether an elite player will be a successful contributor for a given team. Elite players have a set of beliefs and behaviors, mental skills, that differentiate them from other players. Scouts and recruiters can now measure these mental skills to understand more about individual players. When measuring the mental skills of an entire team, the coaching staff can understand the team mental skill makeup, and recruit the best “raw talent” players, as well as those players with the best mental skills. With the MSA, scouts/recruiters/coaches can prepare and deliver development exercises to improve mental skills such as resilience, goal setting, personal control and self-worth, to just name a few.
